Come get a taste of offshore sailing amongst the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean! We are sailing Panacea X from Martinique to St.Maarten, on our way between the Tour de Martinique and the BVI Spring Regatta. Covering roughly 250 miles in one long hop, this is a great taster of offshore sailing at its best.
Sailors should expect to participate fully in the running of the boat and will get experience with a wide variety of skills and conditions, with none of the stress of doing it on your own.
Unlike our other offshore mileage builders, we are unlikely to be putting in a stop along the way- so be prepared to launch straight into full offshore life when we leave Martinique.
Pre-Requisites
Sailing experience to a Competent Crew level is required, but to a Day Skipper level is recommended.
Logistical Note
Crew will join the boat by dinghy in the main Fort de France anchorage in Martinique and depart from the boat by dinghy in the Simpson Bay anchorage in St.Maarten.

About life on board
This week is an offshore delivery, with the ultimate goal to get Panacea X safely to St.Maarten. One thing this offshore mileage builder is not, is a luxury passenger vacation. Your skipper cannot do all things every day, so it’s important to come ready to pitch in and help with all the day- to-day tasks necessary to keep the boat neat and tidy and everyone fed and happy. Everyone should be prepared to take a turn preparing a meal, taking care of dishes, tidying up the cabin and we’ll work together to keep the boat ship shape throughout the cruise.
